im hoping these two together will be a good combo. purchased both off protegegarage.com waiting for them to be shipped. the fujita looked exactly the same as the injen but almost 50 bucks cheaper and the forge bov was a lot cheaper than the other brands. it was a very hard decision for me between the forge bov or bpv but i ended up with the bov.

you should of went with the bpv there is no increace in performance with the bov and during shifts your car may smoke bc of u running rich during those times

If you can run that bov in recirc mode DO IT. These cars do not like vent to atmosphere. That really messes up the air to fuel ratio. We use a MAF sensor which meters air at a very early point in the intake path. It sends a signal to the ECU which tells the direct injection fuel injection system how much fuel to add to the oxygen and for how long to pulse that fuel into each cylinder.

A true BPV recirculates that already metered air back into the intake path when it operates rather than farting it out into the air. This keeps AFR's correct. A BOV needs to be operated in recirc mode on these engines or you will have drivability issues, run even more pig rich than is already the case, and the ECU will probably try to detune the engine to compensate for the lost oxygen that was meant to be burned with the fuel to make more power.

IIRC, Forge doesn't make a hybrid, so that is 100% VTA. That's not gonna make your car happy. MSMS3 summed it up best. You might want to look into swapping that out for BPV, since that will keep the car running in the intended fashion.

haha going cheap will bite ur ass in the end with the fujita dude.. shoulda just went with a sri if u were looking to save money. as for the bov yeah have fun with that.

^ I don't think so, when reading he post he did say that he didn't know whether he should get the BPV or BOV but he ended up buying the BOV.

ya i actually bought the blow off valve and i have heard alot for both sides of the debate between the bpv and bov. so im going to drive with the bov first then decide what im going to do but i have it stored until about april or so. and i didnt see a difference between the fujita and injen intake.
