a great daily driver suspension for the ms3 is the eibach pro-kit. it wont get you as low as some, its about 1.1 inches. but it rides great, and is designed for the stock struts. plus priced great.
also definitely recommend a rear motor mount. its super easy to install and will reduce, if not eliminate, all the jarring and engine twisting that will soon start to drive you crazy. especially if you are doing other power mods. just about everyone here has one, and you'll be really satisfied.
I haven't done a down pipe upgrade yet, but plan to. there's alot of info here on them, and people claim really big gains on that upgrade alone.
