2014 Mazda3 SGT
Been looking at the car for a few weeks now and i finally bought it last night. I've been driving a 1994 toyota camry for the last 16 yrs lol just wrapped it up a few weeks ago with 180,000 miles on it. I just love the car the interior is great, body style i just love the ride is smooth the 2.5 has great pick up the handling is on point also. The sound system is out of this world 9 speaker bose audio is nutz. Sport mode with the paddle shifters is really cool and responsive. My i phone likned up with no problems blue tooth audio streaming works great anlong with the wifi teahtered to my i phone so the nav gets all the traffic and weather updates which is great the nav/entertainment interface is one of the best i have ever used so user friendly.Really didnt find road noise a problem then again i am coning from a 1994 carmy and also not a fanatic when it comes to that anyway, I have a 2012 pilot i really dont see much noise diff, i guss cabin noise is a matter of prefference anyway.Love the nav screen its in a perfect place for viewing and i like that is fixed the less moving parts the better. Back seat was roomy enough i am 6' tall and didnt feel cramped, and my bunker gear bag which is the size of a hockey bag had plenty of room to fit. I love this car and i hope it treats me just as good as my 1994 camry did 16yrs 180,000 miles, This is my frist time with mazda and so far it stared off on the right foot hope i to have positve updates on this ride for years to come wanna have this car minimum 10 yrs. I would be lucky is i put 60,000 on it in 10 years lol. Pics to follow!

Congrats on the new car, same one I'm going to get :D My friend's mom has a 94 of 95 camry too, v6, and that car runs and rides so smoothly even today with almost 200,000 miles on it. Gotta love yota. Have fun.

Congrats! What other cars did you guys test drive?
Are the cars going for MSRP now? My local dealer had one 2.5 but then I don't see it anymore, just 2.0s. Waiting for 2.5 SGT with tech option to test drive. Looking at the pic I like Blue Reflex color but have to see in person.

Let me know what mpg you are getting with what types of driving (hwy/city) and avg speed based on the mpg.

Also is the oil change interval every 7,500 miles? Is it using full synthetic or synthetic blend?

I got mine for just over invoice.

Right now they seem to be delivering primarily Soul Red S GTs, and I think they're meant for the showroom...but then the end of the month showed up, which means they'll sell anything not nailed down to meet the month's numbers.

I'm averaging 35 MPGs on my first tank, but I'm highway-heavy on my driving.

Congrats, I just picked up mine. First s GT hatch in Houston, was also Soul Red and plucked from the showroom.

@rw i love the car! i paid 26,200, i have to read the book more i am going to use mobile one in my car. i will let everyone know the interval in between oil changes there is actually an option in the Mazda information app to set maintenance schedules for oil changes and tire rotation. i have not been doing a lot of driving so far but will report my mpg asap right now avg 16 most city. FB 88 you can get the car at invoice or Little over, total msrp on my car was 27,279 i got it for a gee less i didn't pay for any of those stupid add ons the dealer puts on the car got them all included free car washes for life and 2 comp oil changes. i went there with edmunds fair market value print outs of all the cars i was looking at including the mazda 3 sedan dealer invoice price, i tried to get it for 25,700 which is the sedan in voice but no such luck. dealer invoice for the hatch is 26,130. i asked to see the tissue and the game was over signed sealed delivered.

i test drove the focus, corolla, jetta, passat,sentra,2.0 mazda 3, 2013 mazda3, impreza (not sport one) i felt that the mazda 3 had the nicer styling of them all, better ride, better info system/ tech overall.

Loving it. Night and day from my Hyundai, all of a sudden I enjoy driving again. Mazda really nailed this. They should have left off the CD player though, and given us a power point in the center stack.

Loving it so far, such a big difference from my 12 year old car it replaces. Even though it has less power than my old car (Eclipse) it is so much lighter it is definitely faster.

Of course I do have a couple notes already: the infotainment has crashed and rebooted twice already, no included homelink (for the price it should be), would also greatly prefer losing the cd player and putting a USB port there. That space in front of the shifter is the only natural place to put a plugged-in phone, the cupholder is too dangerous if you also have a drink.

i have no problems with the infotainment rock solid so far, there will be many software updates to make it even better. for me i don't use home link anyway my i phone with alarm app does all that for me. i don't find the cup holders bothersome at all. agreed about the cd should not be there and usb ports for the phone would have been the money move. what is great i thether my iPhone to the gps and get all that cool online s*** with the nav. and a huge up grade from 19yr old camry v6 xle lol loved that ride had it for 16 years 180,000 miles large lol.
