Welcome. Question for you: What blue tooth are you talking about that was available for your car?

It was a dealer installed bluetooth I think, with a toggle placed right next to the interior dimmer switch to the left of the steering wheel. The instruction manual said 'advant' or something.

Trouble is it doesn't work, so I'll have to take it back to the dealer to complain.

theres no reason of removing the bumper for H.I.D's! unless you have big hands but it took me 20-30 minutes to do mine!

I was hoping this was true.

If I had to take off the bumper I was going to put the hella horn in too. But if I don't need to take it off, I'll just put the HID in and leave the horn alone for now.

you don't need high beam HIDs. Just do the headlamps and the fogs. And yes, each bulb will need a ballast.

so one HID for the low beams and one HID for the fogs? (low and high beams arent the same one right for this car?) srry. still a noob in this car

yes, 4 bulbs and ballasts all together for lowbeams and fogs

and no the high beams are a different light. I believe they are 9005 bulbs.

plus a cop cant pull u over for no cats, he has no way of telling. HID high beams he will know right away, Color will say it all

thats OEM equipment, something that cant be helped. A cop legally cant ticket you for that. He can for aftermarket equipment.

and yes a cop can tell you to pop your hood and ticket you on anything else that might b there also.

you might not have to worry about something like this on newer cars, but if the cop is a dick and knows his cars and knows what comes on what, just be prepared thats all. im not sayin don't do it, its just a heads up

yea im sure cops go around looking for aftermarket equipment on cars. and im sure they have the legal right to search a vehicle's engine bay for such objects because of reasonable suspicion. and while he's at it, he can go ahead and void warranties whenever he sees the word "cobb" under the hood or "pirelli" on the tires when he knows it should say "bridgestone"

lol u must've never been pulled for an exhaust or tint buddy. that or you live in a place were cops are cool, cus in the commonwealth i live in, if you mod be prepared to be pulled. if a cop hears your exhaust from across the street, the lights and sirens are to be expected, if he cant clearly see the underneath of your car, parked or rolling, be prepared to be pulled. music to loud, exhaust to loud, your cars too nice, just get ready. on top of it cops are desperate now a days to give tickets, try not to give yourself away too easy..

Just bought a new 2008.5 True Red MS3 sport from the dealer, with about 100 miles from test drives.

Paid $19.7k + TTL. This may be a bit on the high side, but that included Lojack, tint, and bluetooth. Be careful buying from Galpin Mazda, those guys are slimy! They tried every trick in the book. If they weren't the only guys in LA with 2008.5 still on the lot, I'd gone somewhere else long ago.

Now I am a complete noob at car mods. But I am good at doing my research. I've lined up about $4k of accessories, and already spent $1k in 1 week lol.

Things I've done this past week:

Side strips delete
Full synthetic oil change (royal purple 5w30), dirtied up Rose bowl parking lot.
LED swap - map, glove, interior, trunk, reverse, rear turns.
Rear bumper plate
Brake Calipers - painted red
Rallyarmor Mud Flaps - Only put on the front pair

Orders in the mail:

TWM shifter bushings
CP-E 60 duro motor mount
Dashhawk
Colonite auto wax
HID kit from xenoneyes
Hella supertone

Future:
CAI, turbo inlet, BPV, TMIC, wheels, all season tires, etc.

I got some questions for you experienced people!
