I would love to find the original source for that story.

Al Franken calls it "Kidding on the Square". Sure it's a joke, but you really mean it.

OK, just go ahead and keep thinking that. (hi)

Here is just TWO of his lies....

On May 29, 2003, during a visit to Poland, President Bush declared that the U.S. had found the weapons of mass destruction. We found biological laboratories. . . . Theyre illegal. Theyre against the United Nations resolutions, and weve so far discovered two.

On June 1, 2003, Bush proclaimed that we found a biological laboratory in Iraq which the UN prohibited.

^^ Both of those are lies.

Where the hell do you think he got that information? it's not just bush, Congress has been leaving a trail of s*** just as long. Hell Kerry said that the war in Iraq was one of the biggest mistakes in out history. The daily show responded by saying, and I quote " He should know, he voted for it twice." and you know what. they're ******* right.
Both liberals and consevitives have ****** themselves so many times in last few years one arm is twice the size of the other.(forgive the pun. It was horrible I know.)

look at the dates...it's AFTER we invaded. Which means the "Bad Intell" excuse wont work. (poke)

So, I call that a bold faced lie.

I think what you are talking about is the time they found the tractor-trailer labs that the Female Iraqi Doctor used as mobile labs. She was the one that told them about the mobile labs. Our troops found them but they had been cleaned out. Bush jumped the gun and said we found proof because he military chiefs told him we did. These chiefs however didn't do their job. Again Bush should have sat on the info but because he was being bashed so hard he didn't. Now that was his fault. He's not a good speaker for sure. If Bush would get rid of the speech person and just said what was on his mind he would have a lot high rating. He's a man that speaks form the heart but and doesn't do well with the politically correct crap. So when he has to do speeches he fumbles over his words trying to stay with the scrip.
Any ways, if this isnt what you are referring to get the rest of the story so I can read it. I would like to know the rest of the details behind your accusations.

It came from Dubya's mouth and it was not true. I call that a lie. What do you call it? (dunno)

Yet again, do you know what it was he was talking about? Or are you just quoting part of the statement? You need to look at the hole statement to see why he said it. Remember he is not the guy in the feild so he has to rely on others. And that all ways leaves you open to misstakes.

HE'S THE GOD DAMN PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
Why do you people keep making excuses for him. I'll repeat:
HE'S THE GOD DAMN PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
I'm not saying that he's infallible, but he should know how to speak in public. He should also know how to get good information. If someone isn't doing their job, he should fire them and get someone who can. Stop passing the Buck.
Stop acting like he's the manager of a K-mart or something. When the minimum wage monkey at Jiffy-Lube forgets to put the drain plug back on, you all freak out like he's the biggest idiot in the world, but when The President of the United States makes mistake after mistake you say "Well, he's only human, give him a break"
I'm sorry, but I expect the president to be smarter than me.

"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line."
- President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998

"We must stop Saddam from ever again jeopardizing the stability and security of his neighbors with weapons of mass destruction."
- Madeline Albright, Feb 1, 1998

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983."
- Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser, Feb, 18, 1998

"[W]e urge you, after consulting with Congress, and consistent with the U.S. Constitution and laws, to take necessary actions (including, if appropriate, air and missile strikes on suspect Iraqi sites) to respond effectively to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs."
Letter to President Clinton.
- (D) Senators Carl Levin, Tom Daschle, John Kerry, others, Oct. 9, 1998

"Hussein has ... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies."
- Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."
- Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998

"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force -- if necessary -- to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security."
- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002

"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country."
- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

Did any of those people invade based on the information they had? I don't care what anyone said, BUSH invaded. Actions speak louder than words. If Clinton had invaded, I would be writing this about him. Stop making excuses.

ReReading those quotes, the worst thing I see is a call for missile strikes.

Clinton bombed them. Some of the people mentioned above voted to invade.

(emphasis mine)

There's the key to all you who say Kerry flip flopped. I have the power to spank my son -- if necessary -- but you bet I'm going to only do it if it's absoulutly necessary, as this war has proven it was not.

I'm even granting you the fact that Bush made a huge horrible mistake. Well, it's a big enough mistake to get fired.

And the Rebublicans gave him so much s*** for that. Wag the Dog etc.........

Don't get all bent out of shape here. It's been going good for a few days. It's seems you are getting up set because I am (in your eyes) making excuses for him. But I'm not. I posted a link to the New conferance were Bush himself said he was wrong, that the intel was bad but ultimately it was his choice to goto war and he take full blame! But in order for you to juge a man you need to look at the whole picture.

I agree, but it seems too many in Government say "I take full responsibility" but then what happens? Nothing. Just like Janet Reno and Waco. If he really wants to take the blame then resign or fire some people, do something, words are meaning less.

Ya know, something tells me it's not that simple. I bet he can't just fire some one. With politics there is so much corruption if you fire one then the retaliation of the others might make it worse. But the you can run with how do you get the corruption out of the Whitehouse and that will never happen no matter who is in it.

Money=power=corruption!

The best we can hope for is that the next guy wont be as corrupted. I would like Powell or Rice or hell even H Clinton for the next president.

Why settle? Is it too much to ask people to be honest? I'll answer my own question, Yes. People suck.

I'm honestly still waiting for an answer from anyone on how bush can get away with s*** that, as Pingdum put it so well, would get a grease monkey from Jiffy Lube fired. And not only how he gets away with it once, but over and over and over and over again.
