June Photography Contest - Submission Thread

ooo nice, looking back on my entry i should have done something more interesting. Lets see those animals!

OK I like 3 pictures that I took this week but don't know which one I should enter.
Came upon some wild seals that were resting (sleeping) on the beach in La Jolla, Ca.

^^ I'm not sure I'd post any photos in this thread that aren't your final entry...

While on Vacation in La Jolla California my family and I came across a bunch of wild seals that were resting on the beach near some rocks and cliffs. I wantched one climb out of the water and onto a rock and snapped this picture.

Thanks Tonkabui. I love sunset pictures. I'm not a photographer by anymeans with my little NIKON 7600 point & shoot camera, but I really like how this one turned out. I got a bunch of other pictures of the seals on the beach but they were all shaded by the cliffs nearby. This one on the rock, out in the sun, really brought out all the colors.

Attached (not for contest) was the seal climbing up onto the rock.

Damn, my lizard doesn't hatch for another 2-3 months.

I could put my frog and scorpion together and it would make for an excellent photo but then I'd have to replace the frog. I'll think of some thing.

personally i like rule 5. it makes us all go out and take pics...which is what photography is about! theres 9 cats 4 dogs 2 goats and 3 donkeys at my parents house....time to go exploit them.

group photo?
that would be insainly difficult. maybe if i sat the camera up and never once moved it. take like 15 photos and merge them all together. hahaha. dont knwo if that would look any good though.

lol cats... I've gone through about 70 chickens, 10 rabbits, 2 mini goats, 2 sheep, 2 full size goats, a donkey, a pig, and 3 dogs... all have died except 2 dogs and I decided to start collecting smaller exotic pets so I got a scorpion and a tree frog for now and waiting for my lizard to hatch.

here's mine. Taken this afternoon. I have the full version as well (all 5mb of it)
