ECU reflash. Basically you tell it what air intake you have, and it calibrates everything automatically, on the fly. So far it has proved to be very safe...and adds a good chunk of horsepower and a tiny bit of torque. I believe it constantly monitors and changes the ecu much like the factory tune so that nothing can go BOOM. I have a lot of reading to do before I go down that path, but it looks like I want one sooner rather than later!

And that's the dyno graph off their website. Notice the power drop off after 5500 rpm on stock tune. Now look at the Hypertech curve. Just keeps on pulling. James, I bought my Hypertech a couple weeks ago and I could not be happier. I see myself going down the route of the Cobb AP sometime in the future but only if my turbo blows and I make the decision to go with a more reliable one like the GT2871R. Love the progress on the car.

great shot with the bridge!

Ivan-- Ryan let me put the hypertech on before you bought it, hehe. It was great, but I want an engine monitoring device first. And I need tires and brakes. Oh, and I need mounts so my engine doesn't fall out this summer.

Thanks Nate! It's a little railraod bridge I found about 10 miles from my house while on a bike ride. Very cool!

LOL, it was that Conrads on Triplett that everyone goes to...they did the alignment in April. It is worse now than it was. I will get it re-aligned in the spring and hope that cures it for good! G Lean FTW

Maybe you hit a hole or something that screwed it up?

Hit 85,000 miles this week. Changed the oil today. I also disassembled my catch can to clean it out. Junk had definitely backed up in it and was not emptying like it should.

I also bought new cheapo front brake pads to last the winter. Long story short--have pads on hold at NAPA (they have been closed)...my dad went to autozone just to see what they had...had a set in stock! Brought them home, took one wheel apart and the pads do not fit. Going tomorrow to get the right pads from NAPA (hopefully)!

However, in the meantime, here is a comparison of my old pads to what will be my new ones...

Son of a b****! I wish I would've known about that place YEARS ago! It's so freakin hard to find a GOOD alignment shop for lowered/custom vehicles.

WhiteWheel looks awesome! First, I will probably see if MotoMotion can do it, since they are right around the corner. If that fails, I will go there! Thanks Jake!

Pads from Autozone are in. I figured out how to get them to work... Anyways, no more squeal, and slightly better braking. I dunno if I even notice it, but it gives me piece of mind for the winter.

Hey Chippy, how are the BC Coils working out? I'm very close to pulling the trigger and buying them this month! Is the car too low? I'm worried about scraping on everything lol

So far, so good! I do have some sort of "clunk" when I turn the steering wheel--for instance, when I am slowly backing into my garage and am turning the wheel to get it straight. It is coming from the passenger front...but I'm not too worried. You've seen my car and how low it was. That was not maxed out, either. Of course, you can also leave it raised near stock level as well. They have done wonders to stiffen up the suspension! I certainly love them and do not regret them, but I wonder if another brand such as KW would be worth the extra money?
