-Well I have a car re-build thread already and that is going very slow but still moving some (mostly new parts coming in the mail right now)
While I am waiting I am re-doing my truck as well.
Truck:
93 Chevy Silverado extended cab K1500 Z71
Mods that came with the truck:
-4in skyjacker suspension lift
-35" toyo MT tires
-Air Raid intake
-Billett grill
-Clear front marker lights
The Truck's primary purpose:
(Full tilt car trailer will be here soon to tow my car and rock crawler)
**Reason for the rebuild is.......... We had a little too much fun and took my truck on some jeep trails. Caused some major carnage and had to get the truck home like this**
This was the transfer case, reason it was towed home!!!
Damage:
-2 huge dents in the bed (needs to be replaced)
-nerf bars destroyed
-pass fender dented
-transfer case split in 2
-front drive shaft now in 2 pieces
-front cross member bent apt 4"
-front bumper dented
-fog lights destroyed
-pass side window rain guard has a hole
-fender flares destroyed
-pass mirror gone(glass part)
-rear pass window broken (someone broke it)
-radio stolen and plastic radio surround
-fuel pump sending unit broke (found at repair shop)
** I am not going to get into how everything broke since 90% was not my fault since I was not driving, This thread is dedicated to rebuilding my truck to look good again (I hate dents) and serve my purpose of being a badass tow rig!!**
Plans:
-Pro Comp 6" suspension lift (My 4" lift barely clears my 35's and breaks the fender flares!!)
-New aftermarket front bumper w/fog light holes
-new nerf bars
-fix pass fender
-3" painted body color fender flares
-new bed (junkyard repainted)
-DVD system from my Protege into my truck
-Sirus radio/GPS
-Custom built subwoofer box under the rear seat for 2 10's and a Amp rack(built by me)
-New fogs
Fixed already:
-Transfer case was replaced
-Front drive shaft was replaced
-Fuel pump/sending unit was replaced
-Rear pass window was replaced
-Stereo surround plastic was replaced
This build is not going to happen overnight since I also have a very, very expensive car build going on right now!! BTW I am in the Navy and I do not make that much $$$. But I plan every week buying a new part for the truck and it began already.
New Parts:
Westin 3" full length chrome nerf bars (I went with these first since my daughter has almost fallen on her ass a few times getting out of my lifted truck since my old bars were bent to s***!! She wins so 480$ later she will get in and out easier)
This weekend I will install the nerf bars and the DVD system out of my car this weekend (Car is getting a major upgrade!!)
**Just a note the car is not on the back burner, My shoulder is almost better (I broke it 5 weeks ago) and the car rebuild will be hot and heavy for the next few months!!

, My car buid is at a stand still for apx 1 week until I get full use of my shoulder back so I figured I would start a more relaxed (Their is alot of people awaiting the result of my protege running 30+ PSI) Build that will have weekly bolt on additions!! A truck to tow my beast to shows over 400+ miles and look badass doing it.
