I REALLY dig the look of the JDM tail lights.

I was looking for something to distinguish my car from others, and this might be it.

Where can i get them? I haven't seen any on ebay.

DO they go for a pretty penny?

Thanks

Does anyone else sell it any cheaper?
People selling them used still want 200 for them, OK, 195. Haven't seen them any cheaper really. Been looking, fixin to just break down & pay for new ones this week myself.

Ya i love the look, subtle, but a major change

Not that I'm aware of, no one really sells JDM tail lights other than Corksport. Or if you're lucky, you'll be able to find someone that's just dumb and selling their JDM lights....otherwise, you can go to Japan and buy them and then pay shipping and duties.

I think thats as low as you can get them.... If your lucky the tend to show up in the FS thread every time I'm dead broke.... so keep ur eyes open...(lol2)

japanparts.com may have some in stock...I'd call first to know what they will actually cost after shipping.

Also PM Ken at Protegegarage...he gets JDM occasionally and may have some of these in the works.

I got mine for about $180 used/but look like new from E-bay, so even used sets are pricey...Funny thing is they are the old model JDM, the new BJ chassis in Japan came with the same tails we have in the US>..

You won't get them to the US any cheaper than Corksport sells them....$193 plus shipping is a great deal...

As for part numbers, I don't know...

any idea what they generally charge for shipping? I live in Canada so it's ALWAYS an astronomical price

There is a seller on ebay once in a while that I see that sells these tails for around $140 shipped. You have to do a couple different search's to find them though. I don't believe he is selling some at the moment(just checked).

I will be decommissioning my much hated chrome altezzas that've been an institution of much chagrin since their arrival in early 2004. I'm finally breakin down & making a change so I'll be ordering the JDMs from corksport here in the next day or 2. The chrommies can hang in the attic with the oems.

Has anyone tried spraypainting their chromies like the headlights? Might look nice...

As to the original post, JDM TAILS ROCK!

I have posted pics of them on my car (on my other computer). Do a search for JDM Tails and you'll likely find them. At night, they light up wonderfully - full illumination. None of that silly looking shark tail look.

Alas, it does make the car look similar to most other cars - the red, white/yellow, red - design is very popular on the road. But damn do they make our cars look sleeker, wider, and lower. I've seen them on red, laser blue, and midnight blue p5's. BEAUTIFUL!

I got mine used for $160. Honestly, it's a great mod to make and you can do it yourself.
