JDM Rear With MintBlue Type 1 Installed

JDM Rear

If anyone has questions let me know. The bumper itself was SIMPLE to swap out .. it was just the new mounting plates that were a PITA.

Plus, a very big thank you once again to Ricky (mrpopnfresh) for helping me get the bumper.

Ive been waiting on the JDM rear to get the car painted, and now that its here ... I will drive the car around for about a week with the MB rear on to let any stress cracks develop .. then its off for paint. The car will be done in time for Nopi (Sept 20-21)

nevermind, you TRIPLE posted...i deleted it from the protege5 forum...one post is enough i think, let alone THREE

For Nopi it will be stock color ... however we are planning a complete color change for next year.

Razor ... I posted it in a few sections for these reasons:

1. Protege5 -- the JDM rear was a P5 specific part and I know several people have questions about it.

2. Cosmetic -- Again, this is regarding to cosmetic parts (the jdm rear and the mb kit)

3. Photo Vid -- kinda explains itself.

Your the mod ... do as you see fit -- I did.

you *can* order the JDM rear bumper prepainted, but it costs 60% more than what you've paid

There was no point to me paying more to have it prepainted and then shipped overseas. I got an AMAZING price on this bumper and wont cost that much here in the states to have it painted .. plus, do you honestly think a prepainted bumper will actually make it to the states in perfect condition?

Ricky (mrpopnfresh) was in Germany for military duty and helped me get the bumper and ship it over.

In total I think I paid $135 for the bumper/mounting plates and then another $25 for shipping - I HAVE NO IDEA HOW HE GOT IT SHIPPED FOR THAT PRICE. I had gotten a quote from someone else in Germany for $260 to ship!!!
