Yes, going with some more beefier rubber in the rear.
Since I'm running 215/35 in the front I'm going to try 225 or 235/35 or 40 in the rear. If it doesn't work out I have the hook up at the tire shop to do a swap to match everything.
Maybe the usual 225 or 235/35 or 40 front & rear.
The OEM is 215/45/18R for the front & the rear anyway so width isn't the issue. But the height difference front & rear shouldn't be too bad. Maybe if I keep it 35s all the way around and just run wider in the back I wonder if that will cause any problems?
I won't be tracking it nor will I be driving all crazy in it.
If I plan on doing a track day, the stockers would go back on for that.
During the winter the stock 18s will be installed.
Thoughts? Is the issue with the ECU/diff that much of an issue that it would cause problems? I'm not exactly running staggered wheels, just a slightly larger tire in the back.

you do understand that with AWD you need to run the same tire size on all 4 wheels right? you are just asking for problems if you don't. the ecu will see different wheel speeds and your rear diff will probably fry. also there is no point in running different size tires so why do it?

Hmmm...245/35/19 is what my tire guy just offered me.
I know Taylor was running 245/40/18. He rolled & pulled. I'll have to do the same plus some.

The car wasn't designed to run staggered, so I wouldn't do it.
