JBR dry panel filter -- worth getting

:
2017 CX-5 GT w/ Premium Pkg.
I preordered this filter last month after JBR posted it and finally got it today. I had put in the K&N filter last month but returned it and put stock one back while waiting for the jbr one. Throttle response feels better than the k&n one. I mean I noticed a bigger difference going from stock to jbr than when I went from stock to k&n. Seems like there's more growl compared to stock and k&n. Overall I think it's worth the money even if the gain is not that great. Don't think I can feel a 2-3 hp/tq increase much but the better throttle response and not having to oil is enough for me to recommend this filter. Thanks jbr :)

Awesome!! I'm thrilled you're pleased with it. We have a long list of very cool things coming for this car, please stay tuned. Several are just a few weeks away!

Thanks,
Jamie

I think i will wait till July to replace my air filter. The filter looks great I just think i would like to use the free one that came with the car first.
If there are no bad reports on this it does look like a no brainier best replacement for me. "I don't see a huge benefit to a CAI"

I'm most interested in a CAT delete and oil catch can. But I'm not going to be the first to jump on these.
I want to see a bump in fuel economy with these changes. My last car went from 23 hwy to 38 hwy with all the mods i made.

A custom tune should bring back some good numbers for us Eco-fuel sipping guys.
Zoom-zoom programing needs an Eco button. I would like to change the performance button into an Eco button.

My dyno time is free, Shop owner owes me big time. It would not be cost effective to pay for this at all. I've helped with the programming several times and have made the owner a fortune.

I'm not sure how much more Eco you can get than the default tune on this car.

I also ordered this filter and a swaybar (couldn't help myself) so I will give some feedback when I get it installed.
