Japanese License Plate in the front. Legal?

Im thinking getting a Japanese license plate (replica or real one) in the front. Is it legal in california? it is consider a decoration right?

i doubt it since you need your license plate in the front. even if it is legal, i'm not doing it coz it's gay - just like the euro tags.

yeah, probably illegal unless you wanna have your plate, and the japanese one. I think its gay unless the car is in japan or europe, kinda like what dizzin9 said.

JDM = Japanese Domestic Market

In some states, like Florida, we have no front plates. So it's nice to be able to drive with an uncluttered front bumper. Of course, if you want to slap a euro/other tag on there, that works, too.

front lincense's plates ftl been front plate less since 05 =]... thats as long as ive had my license.

if i ever move from delaware the first thing i'll research is that state's front plate laws. it's a sad but major factor with me.

I not only have JDM parts on my MS3, but I have increased my skidpad performance to 0.92 g by using japanese air in my tires.

Mebbe we can get a GB going

you have to make sure and get the JDM air that works in the US. I hate having to use an air adapter, they are a pain. Also JDM air is exensive. I just switched to seasonal air. RIght now about to make the switch to summer air.

IDK why you guys are hatin so much. some JDM parts really do make a difference!
JDM headlight fluid and muffler bearings really make a noticeable performance increase. i had mine imported straight from tokyo.
i also have jdm pink wheels, with green calipers and peach racing harnesses. and pokemon logos replacing the mazdaspeed logos...
