mazda is going to release a mazdaspeed6 w/ 276 hp and 265 lb. ft of torque to compete with subaru and mitsubishi. it will debut mid-2005 with AWD, a six-speed tranny, 18" wheels and tires. the motor will be a twin-turbo 2.3L 4. it is based on the MPS vehicle shown in Paris in 2002.

i got the info out of autoweek july 19, 2004. YAY ! looks like it's gonna be some crazy shizzle going on !
