It's Official..

My first modifications are complete! The Tein S.Tech springs came in the mail last week, along with my fiance's springs and new 19" wheels for his RX-8. We had a little garage weekend, put his springs and wheels on, and I did the springs and swiped his stock 18's for my car.

I had pictures a couple of days ago but wanted to wait to post until after our local group meet just in case anybody from there was lurking around here so we could surprise them.. It's picture time!

Someone on another board thought the yellow thing was some kind of fashion statement pony tail holder.. No.. It's the LIGHT!

(Like the big scratch on my back bumper where some &%$#*$ hit me in the parking garage??)

So far the ride is great. It has rubbed a TINY bit a couple of times when I made hard fast turns, but nothing significant. And it handles better than it did before so all in all, life is good!

Lol.. We saw the pictures of where someone had color matched one and it looked really good, so that may be the next project.

I want my windows tinted.. and an intake.. If I didn't only have 6,000 miles I'd probably want the turbo too..

Mods are like tattoos I think.. They say you get one and you can't stop..

On the 3 they're the stock 18x8 RX-8 wheels with Tein S.Tech springs.. The wheels on the RX-8 now are 19x8.5 and 19x10 with Tanabe NF210 springs..

8 inches with some slight rubbin... not surprising with that drop... you have the camber correction kit yet for the rears? i am sure they look something like this / \ (i think or is it this \ /?? either way) to tired to think... must go home and become one with my bed....
