if you dont know the answer to those questions, then you shouldn't be using boost. and I am serious.

I have researched the hell the subject, I know pepole that use it in there cars, but I would like to see what other pepole use or think about it

He said nothing about boost, chief.

I wouldn't reccomend Nitrous. It's for dyno queens and people who wnat to impress others. If you want a better overall driving experience, go with a turbo.

If you like your valves to come out through your valve cover, hook up some Nitrous.

I like my valves and I like my valve cover just the way they are, so i am going to stay away from it unless someone comes with a good argument otherwise

I started with a 60 shot and had no problems... used it for 3 onths.. now i've been runing a 75 shot and still no problems...its been almost three months....engine damage is a rusult of lack of nitrous driving knowledge or instalation....if you check your system regularly you won't have any trouble...

i have a mazda 3 five door

Dollar for Dollar..Nothing beats Nitrous...

I ran NX wet nitrouskit on my p5. I went w/ a 50shot..and never had a problem (over 1 year). 1 guy i know..is still runnin a 75 shot on his p5..with no problems.

I loved runnin nitrous..it was much faster than my turbo..(no Lag)..and less problems.

I say..if you have a ATX..don't go above a 50 shot..if you have a mtx...75shot max.(unless you upgrade the ecu)

I am still runnin nitrous w/ my turbo setup..but i am not shooting into the intake track.

If you have any questions let me know!

how is using nitrous not boosting?
Boost normally refers to menthods of compression, ie Turbocharging or Supercharging.

Nitrous is another sort of power gain. While it does cool the intake charge and allow more air in, there is no compression taking place. Therefore, no boost.

It's semantics really, but to say boost when refering to nitrous could get you into trouble, as there are seperate and different problems for each.

I ran a 75 shot on my prelude with stock internals...no problems...just check the plugs from time to time and always make sure the fuel is there. Only thing i added was a Fuel pressure regulator and 2 degree colder plugs.

I am really tempted to run a ZEX dry kit with a 50 shot or lower , I know to run high octane, I am just not sure about the when and how to spray thing

Well..when i ran my setup..i did it like this

How: had an intial arming switch..than i had a WOT TPS switch..

so basically..i fliped a switch to arm the sytem..and than hit wot & it would shoot.

When: Above 3k rpms..and not past 6k rpms.
Also try not to shoot in 1st gear..otherwize..you will just burn tires..

Okay .. Can someone explain to me the difference between the "wet" kit and the "dry"..Thanks !

it's actually pretty simple..

a dry kit..shoots only n20 into the intake track..

a wet kit..has 2 solenoids..one for the nitrous & one for the fuel.
With the wet kit..you are shooting nitorus & fuel together using a nozzle..that atomizes the mixture..

2 things that can cause the BOOM. The driver and the installer. If the kit is installed wrong then BOOM! If the driver over rev the rpm w/ nitrous the BOOM!

ofcourse your engine has to be in a good condition to use this.

doese useing a lower shot reduce your chance of boom

yeah..a lower shot should indeed reduce chance of boom...but by how much..it's anybodys guess.

Anyone consider using a nitrous window? Of all the people I know who use nitrous, no one has blown an engine. It's all a matter of being an educated user.
