im thinking of getting muffler and having a custom cat back built once i get my header. im just affraid of how loud these aftermarket mufflers are. and idea what these falkens sound like?

that is a great muffler with a deeper sound than most. it is also one of the few c/f mufflers that is not just a wrap. it is a pure c/f shell with stainless caps. it it also lightweight. not sure the exact weight but it feels close to the tianium falken cannon that only weighs 4pds. if you have any other questions about it write me or call me. if you call, just ask for justin

i just went and listened to one again. it really isnt all that loud. you can tell it is aftermarket but it doesnt come anywhere close to sound as loud or obnoxious as fart cans on civics.
if ractive does not hook me up with their axle back system. i am going to use the carbon falken muffler and have a full cat back built.

the muffler is 148.69 but if you call in and talk to me if you order it i can take a few dollars off of that.
i dont have a sound clip or any way of recording one but ill ask some of my friends if they can recpord it and see if i come up with anything.

if any one is interested in group buys on the c/f or titanium cannons, let me know and i can probably save anyone interested some more money on them. i would probalby onlyneed 5 orders or something to get decent price or more orders for a great price.

yes he might be, as he said he is waiting to see if ractive will hook him up with their axle back system, which I have now and love and am going to have a custom midpipe made for it at Apex here in AZ.

I think that muffler looks gorgeous but it cost me the same as my entire axle back and I like the can on that also.

oh and no i dont think his shop does custom exhaust work, ie they might not have a mandrel bending machine.

(I asked my dad to see if he could "slip" one of those machines into jag's budget next yr for their shop and if my dreams are answered and they do thats when Ill make a full custom 2.5" system.)
