is this too much tire?

im shopping for wheels, found a set with tires:

Tenzo GT-6 wheels 18x(7.5?), offset 42
tires: nitto 245/40

i have H&R 1.5" drop.

too much tire?

i know that stock this would fit, but with the springs, its about the width. if that .5 is too much with the springs, you'll rub. most likely under load.

roll the fenders, that should stop the fenders from rubbing.

I rolled my fenders using a baseball bat, just jack the car up a little, wrap the baseball bat with a rag and roll the bat between the tire and the fender, be careful, if you use too much pressure you will bend the fender.

that sounds dangerous lol but can you post a pic of ur car with ur rims? i see em in your aviator but its too small
