Is this tire size possible

Anyone thinkl it would be possible with any Rim and rolled Fenders to get 255/45/18 on there, I got a brand new stickered set of Falken RT-615s just sitting here, accidentally won an auction i didnt think I would, LOL

If anyone needs a 255/45/18, of killer tires let me know as I'm almost positive theres no way these will fit. I got em cheap and can pass the saving on to you, especially if your in Florida.

Somebody on these forums has 255/xx/18s...not sure of the aspect ratio, but I'm sure it's not 45. Probably 40 or 35...45s would be quite a drastic diameter difference from stock and would throw off the gearing.

(cheers) sorry if they come out oversized iPhone pics FTL.

^^What are your wheels specs?

I'm contemplating trying to get away with 245/40s on my RX-8 wheels the next time around....

it will work. i have 245's on my RX8's now with the mazdaspeed lowering springs. it rubs a little on the plastic inner fender.

I already rub the inner fender liner slightly on the passenger side at full left lock when the suspension compresses. That's with 235/40 Kumho XSs... That's the only place that rubs on the whole car though and it hasn't really caused any visible tire damage...

I'll have to give 245s some serious thought.

My front rubs in the fender liners when at full lock in reverse... otherwise no rubbing in the front... could probably put a 3-5mm spacer in the front and still be good.

I got a hold of my friends fender roller last night and I think massaged them enough that they shouldnt rub much anymore if at all... but the roller slightly pulled the fenders. It's barely noticable though, it just looks like my fenders buldge a little now.

I have 225/40's and i dont like it. i wish I had more sidewall and I lost some steering response. it feel like to tires roll/have weak sides walls in corners. But they fit.

I just switched to Kuhmo Ecsta XS's in 235/40/18 on my RX8's and stock susp. No issues or rubbing yet. Want to go 245 next time.
