So i wanna pull my motor and change my internals myself but i have only messed around wih a couple engines in high school shop i know the basic concepts but not alot of experience. Ive got a basic 200piece tool set no lifts and no there is an automotive shop fr military down the road that has lifts and shiot so if i need one its like 4 bucks an hours or somin. but im asking if when you guys did your first engine did yu need alot of help or did u feel you could have done it urself?

lol see im not doubting myself i really wanna do it but ive never done it lol but i wanna do it all myself and just send the block off to get bored out but is there any special tools i would need or anything ive already got a pretty good list

Torque wrench... Ring compressor... Plastigauge... As far as "special" tools go, that's about it...

Very hard but I would recomend you send the head out with the block crank and rods. a good machine shop will rebuild it and in stall cams and pucks (as this is some thing most of us cant do). but as for the tear down and asmy. you should be able to pull it off and what you will learn along the way is priceless. I would be happy to give my 2 cents to help Ive done 20 mozda 2.0L (and 1000s of other engines)

alright cool man thanks u can help me out with my random questions in my build thread in the loungw forum
