hey guys and gals

recently, while I drive my 03 p5, (5spd), there is sometimes, but not always, a hissing/whining sound that is pretty loud. It starts at a cold start or tunes in after a day of not heating it while I am cruising..
I can't quite tell where the sound is coming from but its sound output comes in accordance with RPM's. it gets whinier and higher pitch as i accelerate and is flat at idle.

Also, i have blown out 7, yes that is SEVEN, pairs of head lights in the past 4 months. They are only ~$15 per pair of low beam bulbs so it is not killing me, but this should not happen. My headlights dim all the time and surge with RPM's...
When I have the wipers and air on my headlights dim upon shifting with accordance to the RPM's.. i noticed also when I started my car and was parked, i pressed all 4 window buttons at the same time to go up or down and my RPM's drop to about 500-600 as soon as i press them and all interior/exterior lights dim massively.

i have a 1000w sound system in my car , could i have friend my ECU? i desperately need to know a fix to this problem, any input is appreciated.
(Oh and also, these sypmtoms happen more when I am playing music, but THEY STILL DO REGULARLY HAPPEN EVEN WHEN MY STEREO IS COMPLETELY OFF.)

Thanks so much

how do you have your amp wired...RCA's near the power lines? that's what it sounds like to me, and yes, if I remember right, when I made that mistake it did it with the radio off also

I think it is the alternator that is damaged. something to do with voltage regulator...

My RPMs dip as well when I have a strain on the electrical system. I know my battery is on its way out, but I'm sure the alternator isn't in the best of shape either.
