I have gotten a few quotes so far, but this has been the lowest.

2015 Mazda CX-5 Touring FWD (dealer installed leather)

$24,988 price
$699 dealer fee
$1.50 battery fee
$2 lemon law book
$5 tire disposal fee
$85 tag fee
$24.99 electronic filing fee
$1,598.21 tax
$100-150 tag transfer fee

$27,500 ish OTD depending on the tag transfer fee

Where are you? The only fee I paid was "tax".

Dealer fee? So they charge you a fee to buy from them?

Battery fee? Never heard of this.

Lemon law book? No idea what that is and definitely don't pay this fee.

I could go on..

I'm in Florida. The other quotes I have gotten were close to $29k out the door.

I just LOVE the "$5 tire disposal fee". Err... what tire are they disposing with?

$24,988 price(take at least $1,500 off sticker)
$699 dealer fee(I assume this means Destination Fee, if not, it's a BS fee)
$1.50 battery fee(BS Fee)
$2 lemon law book(BS Fee)
$5 tire disposal fee(BS Fee)
$85 tag fee(Temp Tag is $30, well, in Ohio anyways)
$24.99 electronic filing fee(Ummm, I suspect another BS Fee)
$1,598.21 tax(Sadly, this is probably true) In Ohio, if trading in a car, you only pay tax on the difference between new car price and what they're giving you for your trade...
$100-150 tag transfer fee(Seems a bit high)

$25K including the leather, which should cost $1095 by itself (assuming you got Katzkin seats installed, like I did). So just below $24K for the base model. That actually seems like a pretty decent deal to me, but as the others say, get rid of the bogus fees they are trying to stick you with.

My dealer did not even charge me the destination fee (though I am not sure if that was by design or an oversight on their part). :)

The only fees I paid were Dealer Inventory Tax ($60, couldn't get out of that one, but it's really bogus, too), License Fee ($65), Inspection & Title Fee ($62), Documentary Fee ($125, never figured out what that was for) and sales tax.

I've gotten several quotes much higher then that one. I guess the dealers around here don't want to budge. I haven't pushed anyone yet since we haven't made up our mind if this will be the vehicle for us.

Contact the internet sales manager. They always give merge best price with no hard negotiating

Well they didn't know that. We had to wait for our lemon law buy back to be closer to completion before we bought anything else. The deal is done though, at least verbally.

So what are the final details?

$26,800 is what we agreed to with a year of free oil changes. That's the OTD number though. I will update everything once I sign and have the paperwork in hand. I'm hopeful that will be today, but it depends on whether or not we can surrender our current vehicle today.

2015 Touring FWD Liquid Silver
$24,650.00 (This includes Katzkin leather, wheel locks, cargo tray, and rear bumper guard)
$1,564.37 Tax
$589.50 Dealer Fees
$26,803.87 OTD
