Is the Warranty Voided???

Iwould like some help, i`m new here and i am thinking of putting a Cold air intake in my mp3 i want to know wich one is the best buy for the money and also if it voids the warranty.......

yes and no

For the CIA, if you put that in and your MAS goes to s*** then you can pretty much asume the Tech will say the CIA caused the MAS to die hense you just bought a new MAS. if you engine blows The tech is not going to blame the CIA and if he does he has to prove that the CIA itself caused your engine to go boom. The CIA is a safe product that almost everybody in here has. for the money it gives you about 4 HP, is that worth it for you? hope that helps

FIRST OFF....keep all your stock intake.....and IF something should go wrong with the MAS...or the Temp sensor.....just remove the CAI....and reinstall the stock intake...and then get the car to the dealer...they won't know the difference...if you reinstall it correctly that is.

as far as which one is the best? well that is a highly debated subject...seeing as how I don't know of a single soul that has ANY REAL dyno data on one....only the claims of the makers. and with those claims and a buck..you MIGHT get a cup of coffee somewhere....

I personally chose the INJEN CAI....it fits like it was OEM....it sounds great....it works well....and it looks bad ass on top of that.

CAI gets your more TQ than HP, methinks.

So we have a MAS not a MAF? Has anyone screwed theres from CAI?
