Is the MSP a Subaru?

People ask all the time if it's a WRX. Then they look again and see the flying M.

My brother has a WRX and when we park next to each other, you can see very similar body lines. They are close to shape and style.

i had my car mistaken twice in the last two monthes. once for an evo and then a sti. someone told me they said i was driving around a black evo,( silver msp with carbon fiber evo hood) and then someone didnt know what my car was and they called it a sti.

i can see the resemblance between a msp and evo but not much wtih the sti/wrx. if you look at sti's they are a bulky looking car where evos and msp's are slim and sleek

dead thread bump i see... but since it's here... STI lips DO fit quite well on the MSP, so that could warrant a comparison.

I gotta admit that the 03.5 lip makes the car look like a 06/07 STI but.. Mazda made that lip way before Subaru made that car lol but I think it looks hella lot sexier then the STI (Mazda FTW)

Yea I get people thinking my car is a wrx all the time. I just wanna slap them upside the head, people irritate me so much. I had a few high school kids walk by my car the other day I heard 1 say something about suburu or wrx and I think it was his buddy that corrected him realizing that it was a Mazda as they passed the front. I think someone thought it was an evo 1 time.

I gotta say. I parked next to a gray evo 8 Mr one day.....they do look similar. Just not enough to be mistaken.


Also, I've gotten suburu, evo, is300, and the best one was recent. Asked if I drove the edm civic parked in the parking lot at my work.

LOL......Yesterday my co-worker asked how fast my subaru was. After I told him it was a Mazda he was shocked .

Since I have the EVO spoiler alot of people automatically call it an EVO. But most have no friggen clue what it is since I have no badges anywhere, until they see the Mazdas247 and MazdasNW decals on my back window

passed by one of those fundraiser/car washes at a Hooters one day and one of the guys yelled as I passed telling me to bring my Evo back so they can "get it right" for me. If anything, I get subie more though since the 03 spoiler sort of resembles the spoiler on the older bug eye subies

I like it that way. No badges, no hood scoop, no spoiler & black perrin fmic... I can sneak up and take them out! Well there are a few things that give me away.. Like big a** red brembos, wheels, exhaust ect...
