In Canada, Mazda offer two exhausts. I got the second, better one. The sound is more richer and the edge of the pipe is "flanged" or "tapered" a bit.

Please do. I'd like to see about getting what you've got if it's quieter than what I've got now (it's loud on the highway AFAIC.)

Also a Mazda part number, and price would be nice as well.

How loud is the Exhaust on the highway, I am getting one next week, but I do a lot of Highway driving, should I be having second thoughts?

A bit too loud for my tastes, but I'm 40. You might like it, who knows.... Damn shame, it really looks good on the car.

mine doesnt sound that bad oin the highway... its not louad, but at really high revs you can hear it purr (im talknig 4 plus revs when you are goig 150 Km +)

Mazda Sport Exhaust vs. Mazdaspeed Exhaust

Interesting note -- the 2003 Pro 5 accessories catalog doesn't list the Sport Exhaust ...

ANYWAY: My question: I see the MS Exhaust for around $500 and I see the Mazda Sport Exhaust for the Pro 5 (around $220 list) -- what's the difference?

i'm getting mine this week.
I only paid 175 + 19.50 shipping, which is less thatn 200 and cheaper than mazdastuff.com
i will probably do 2.25" mandrel bent tubing cat back with mazdaspeed exhasust.
can't wait ~

$220 is not bad, but like i said before, I got exhaust shipped to my door for $200.
If you want to pay little less, I can get you the person. I don't know if he still have them in stock, but it all depends on whether u want to save money or save time.

Yup~ It's the Mazda Sport Exhaust.

got mine and installed today. Believe it or not installation only cost me $15 even from MIDAS.
all other dealers asked me 75 average.
anyway, I love it love it love it so much~
