Is it possible to find info on someone by their liscense plate?

Say somebody cuts me off for no reason whatsoever, and taunts me on the road, while im just driving normally. Is there any way for me to A) report them to police or get them in trouble, (i know lack of evidence...) b) find their personal informaion (address) online?

Only law enforcement personell can obtain those records. Best thing to do is report road rage incidents to the non-emergency police communications dept in your area. DO NOT use 911 for this. They may or may not put a look out for the vehicle. If it's spotted, they may follow the driver for a short distance to see if a) he's on a substance or b) causing any traffic hazards or risks to other drivers. In which case they will make a decision to stop the vehicle or not. It's all up to them.

Road rage happens... it's just one of those things. Yes people are cocky, YES they should'nt do anything to further aggrevate you... BUT they can and will try to get away with it. Just dont play into their game. Unless you feel a need to involve the authorities because you felt that you were being threatened, let it go. Just know that you were the more mature one. The other idiot will eventually get that ONE person that will drive HIM off the road instead of you. And it would be great if they were 90 years old and driving a Buick Century. lol

Or just try the internet. Takes about 10 minutes. The ability to find someone's full name and address by license plate has been proven on this very site. Ask Natey. I say yikes. Don't like that much but that's the convinience and curse of the net.

When someone is getting is getting all pissy and mad (possibly giving me the finger), I like to give them a goofy laughing smile, maybe point at them or give them the finger back. (upyours) Anything that I can do to enjoy myself while pushing their buttons. After that, I drive along with a warm fuzzy feeling, knowing that they are going to be steaming for the rest of their trip. (laugh)
