is 39k too many?

Went to go see the car, looks mint, 50k couple stone chips no biggie, new tires, never winter driven. Went to see the guy, put in an offer for 15,000, he refused but i gave him my number incase he changed his mind. he said the best he would do is 16,000. What do you guys think of this one?

I need this answered asap, pickin up the car 2morrow. Is there any transmission problems? I heard from someone they cease due to sensors or stuff like that. is that true? Is this only on automatic? Please guys i need as much info as possible so i can sleep soundly tonight. Thanks guys!!

I haven't really ever heard of trans problems from the rx8...or rx7's for that matter my guess is the lack of torque kinda helps in that department.
