Is 2014 Mazda AC colder than the previous 2 generations?

Hi All.
I know it's not summer at the moment. If you live in hot regions, how do you like the AC so far? I have the 2007 Mazda3 and my AC is very weak. I am near San Francisco. I hope Mazda improved AC for 2014 because I really want to buy one. Thx in advance for your replies.

I've been really impressed with the AC in this car. The AC is really cold, really. We've had some upper 80 degree weather the week I bought the car and the AC worked great. I've since tinted my car with high heat rejecting film and when set to auto 68 degrees it usually stays in speed 1 or 2. Only when I get into the car after it's been sitting out for a while it'll blow hard for a few minutes then stays at 1 or 2 speed. Cools the car very quickly.
