IRONMAN!! badass mofo

Nice! Looks good! How did they decide to use Robert Downey Jr.?? I thought he was still in re-hab or jail or something!
 
hahaha beats me i didnt eben know he was in jail all i know is this movies is going to be badass...besides hes a celeb and celebs get away with anything...
 
Yea I saw the preview for this movie, this past weekend when I went to go see I AM Legend. Looks like its going to be pretty decent?
 
Looks alright I guess.... pretty ridiculous premise if you ask me but hey.. it's based on a freakin comic book so...

even more importantly, while wandering through imdb to research this flick I found that they're in the early stages of bringing Voltron to the big screen. can't expect it to get the big budget treatment transformers got but still... assuming they don't F it up, this could kick ass

Well like Chico said, the story line looked a bit lame. But the special effects and everything else looked cool. I'm not a big Marvel/DC Comic book fan. But there were folks in the theater that seemed pretty stoked about it coming to the big screen.

There also making another Batman movie (The Dark Knight) with the joker in it.
 
I think it looks pretty good. I love comic based movies....mostly. The first Fantastic Four was ok but Rise of the Silver Surfer was mostly horrible. Either way I didn't complain because I didn't expect Casablanca or The Godfather. I could use many examples but you get the point.

That being said....we must appreciate the fact that our generation has this awesome "push" of comic movies. I hate it when people say/said "Transformers looks rediculous". Really? No s*** Sherlock. A car turned into a robot and, of course, you expect the "new gay American Idol of the week" to pop out an sing a song the no one gives a s*** about. Of course thats just my opinion.

It's a movie. It's entertainment. You pay 9 bucks a pop for 2 hours and you get what you get. Hell....a good shot worth it's weight in alcohol cost more than that.

I'm proud of the comic movies that have happened over the past few years and I'm excited about what is to come.

NOW....go back and watch Unbreakable.
 
I loved unbreakable.......it was supposed to be trilogy iirc
 
every comic book movie should be made the way the new Batman's are being made. Not the cheesy pop s*** they are shelling out now. Ghostrider,Fantastic four,the hulk( which i hear they are remaking).....the list goes on.
 
I think the idea got canned cause the 1st one was recieved so poorly. But that was the original Idea.
 
Besides SpiderMan and Transformers, I haven't been the biggest fan of the comic book movies.

Unless these movies are dark, violent and just bad ass, they are going to be bubble gum crap (F4).

This one looks like it could work. I don't know what you guys think of Robert Downey Jr. but I think he is a pretty damn good actor and really gets into his roles. Kinda like a Christian Bale type but you know, way more eccentric. Like Johnny Depp meets Christian Bale sorta thing.

I would go see it.
 
i did, i liked it, best movie this year so far imo just because of how badass ironman is, and the almost non stop action. there wasnt the usual lull or period where there is just talk.
 
It's Badass... I actually wanna go see it again, I didn't know what to expect, what an awesome character/storyline...
 
Robert Downey Jr. was amazing. It was a well written story that wasn't over the top (for comic books) and it was just well done.
