ipod help

ok so....i tried to plug up my ipod to the aux plug in the center console via the plug cable and no sound. please tell me i don thave to spend 100 bucks to get my ipod to run through this thing. i hope i need a new fuse. i dont even think the cigarette jack works either so i might have pulled or blown a fuse...

OK, first things first... did you ever take apart the center console, like to install a short shifter or bushings? Any chance you forgot to reconnect the wiring harness connector behind the ash tray that feeds the console?

And dumber question, but hey, ya gotta ask... you are selecting "AUX" on the stereo and the iPod isn't set to zero volume, right?

the setting was on aux and both volumes were up. im going to rip apart the senter console tomorrow to see when i hooked up my turbo timer to the ebrake if i didnt clip it in all the way or something....thats very possible. ill get back to you when i try fuses and the center console thing.
