Intermittent Wiper Stalk

i'm looking for the Intermittent Wiper Stalk for 2003 MPV, I wanna install them on my Protege 5, did anyone find a good place for them??

I know Mazdastuff.com sells them for $84.. but I don't know any local salvage yards.. so I'll have to buy them online.. anyone know where they sell these??

I was interested in one of these too. I'm gonna check the salvage yards myself. Kinda hard to find a wrecked Mpv around here. What years fit from the mpv?

Markham Mazda want $149 for the wiper stock..

I checked a few wreckers already, and no mpvs.

99+ will work..

I bought mine new from mazdastuff.com; like US$79 or something. I have TONS of junkyards around here but in a new car, I'd much rather have a new component.

I am going to check Brandywine Junkyards MD this weekend. They seems have a lot of Mazdas.

The Wiper stock from the Mazda Tribute also looks the same, so it could be that the Tribute/Escape could be another vehicle..

If any of you geys find any extra, I would gladly buy it off of you!!

actually... would any of them fit my P5? or do I have to get the one from 2001 MPV for my P5??

I don't know if it matters or not... but there's a rear window wiper on the P5, what if I got the 2001 MPV wiper stock and the rear wiper does not move? is there a specific one or a few specific wiper stock that are compatible with the P5??

can anyone help me confirm this??

For the MPV unit, it needs to be a 1999 and up model

I bought one off Mazda recycling or something like that. Its basically an online Mazda junk yard. When it came it felt like there was sand in it when I turned it, so I took it all apart (took some time and patience) and regreased it. It works and looks perfect now. I dont remember how much I pair, but I saved a few bucks not getting it new.

I got mine from Mazdastuff.com over a year ago....in vact until I contacted them they didn't even know it would work and they didn't even list it on their site.....but after "THE MAN'S" post about them that long ago and the how to he once had up I got mine....in fact I did the mod on both our P5's ( mine and my wifes). you can use any year from 99 up....as they are all the same. and it litterly a 15 minute job....just a few screws to take the column cover off...and two screws that hold the stalk on....just unplug it, plug in the new one and reinstall the screws...

works like a champ.

just got my new stalk today and threw it in....so happy to actually have real wipers now.....i got mine from my brother-in-law. he works at a local junk yard and scored me the stalk free of charge...it is nice having hook-ups.
also i am thinking of throwing together a little how to just for anyone who is scared to do this....i know there is a topic for a how to but there are no pics....what do y'all think?

The wipers on my 2003.0 P5 have three settings: Int, 1, and 2.

Would the wiper stalk being discussed on this thread be an improvement for my car, or perhaps only for earlier models?
