so i got bored at work the other day and mixed up a bmw red then added some gold and red efx pearls and painted the trim piece what do ya think? im debating on painting the window switch surrounds to match. it really seems to make the interior look more alive

that is definitely an improvement. it'd look great with the surrounds of the window switches matching

WOW, looks awesome. I would love to do something like that. Mine is silver so i dont know if red would work as well as your car.

did u run in to any paint problems lifting or some weird problem when i did my ranger one that thing blew up bad! jw if these r like that or not

looks good, i was thinking about doing that to mine and the center dash peice with the gauge pod, i've just never been brave enough to do it.

Very simple yet effective. I actually like how it matches the interior light color rather than True Red. However, it would be nice to see ones color matched to the specific car. Hell, what would cap it off would be to add a custom engraved plate with the production number (if we could ever figure that out!)

I dont know what you guys have been smoking, but that looks HORRIBLE !!!! but to each his own, just my 2 cents

just joking ^-^
i think it looks really good, esp since it looks like it matches the interior lighting, i'd rock it :D

That reminds me, for those of us that have the compass mirror, it would also be nice if the letters were red-orange like the dash lights. I was wondering if it could be done with tinted film, green + ?? = red-orange.

Nice... usually think factory does a better job then the custom interior hack paint jobs Ive seen but yours looks very nice... I dont think it would look good on NON red cars... IMHO the trim looks good if it matches car color but red would look totally out of place in say a black or silver car... would beg the question: why is trim piece red and not black or silver?
The more I think about it red is about the only color car this would look good on.... blue car is screwed, black car wouldnt have trim stand out, and silver.. well trim is already silver....

that trim piece was actually black and i was trying to match the inside stitch and lights more than the outside color if i would of painted it the outside color it would have been wayy to bright and dominated the inside i think i made up about 7 spray out cards varying colors and with clear or not until i found this color...i got the idea from the ausie car

I disagree about this not working on the blue car.

Just as you stated about not making that interior red be the same as the outside because it would dominate the interior, I think the blue would be perfect because it wouldn't do this.

I like what you did with the colors and I might have mine professionally painted. Good work (thought)

Hmm I thought all the trim pieces were Silver... didnt know they had black as well.... nevertheless its not relevant.. it looks cool
