Interior Plastic Screws

:
2002 Mazda Protege5
I know this has been asked before, but lately I have not been able to find said threads through the search results.

I am trying to look for the interior plastic screws that firmly hold the plastic parts on the inside of my Mazda Protege5. I have broken so many of these things from removing various interior plastic panels over the course of time I've owned this car. Most of the time when they pop out they automatically break.

I went to Autozone and bought some "similar" replacements, recommended by the manager, but they do not work at all.

I would prefer buying the OEM plastics, but will settle with something similar if anyone recommends alternative plastic screws.

Thanks!

Yes! Those are exactly the type of retainer clips I am looking for. I forgot to check Ebay... Could you personally vouch for those types of clips or do you know if others have had success with them?

i used the bigger plastic screws at autozone and forced them in, i just use a flat head and pop them if i need to take the panel out

Lowe's Hardware carries some interior screws / clips as well, not sure if they have these particular screws though...

Before I had purchased two different types from Autozone, hit them in place, and they eventually ended up popping out under pressure. I ordered a set of the ones NestorGonzalez linked me to so hopefully those work.

Worst case scenario is they're not as good but the price isnt too bad.

you can also go to the dealer and get the exact parts you need! rather pricey, but i'd be willing to bet they fit properly.

I got 3 fasteners for $3 shipped off ebay this afternoon. I found the Mazda part number and searched for it and found them that way. Granted they were used, but all in good shape.
