interest in fmic local san diego speed shop

possibly the downpipe, but that would be another time plus they might start trying to figure out the A/F problem.

yeah as soon as I can sell my girlfriends explorer I am going to spend some time r and d some improvements to this engine, I would like 300hp even if I have to upgrade the turbo. I always spend stupid money on my cars

the cool thing about trhis car is that all you need is 235hp at the crank to have a better power to weight ratio than an Evo. personally i can't wait to get this car out on the track when the damn snow melts, it should handle well but i need some more power and bigger front brakes.

this is true but I am stupid with my cars. I have a supercharged tiburon and a 240 that I want to convert to a silvia.

UPDATE: The IC core should be in on Monday or Tuesday, after that they will be making two kits 1 for mine and 1 to make the kit off of. I also have a powder coating guy that can do the hard pipes for a really good price if anyone is interested because I am going to do them in the same laser blue as my car. Just let me know.

its here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well we just got the intercooler from PWR last night and we started fitment of the FMIC I took some pics but it was so late I left the camera there, but I will have some pics up soon. The core that they are using is good for 350hp and they might even make it a two part kit for people that can't afford the hardpipes plus FMIC so they can get into a front mount and still use the factory piping as a stage one or the stage two with both. I am so jazzed on this kit and it is still going to be around 800 dollars for everything plus a SRI.

Any new updates? just keeping it at the top.

UPDATE
It is confirmed, they are going to do stages so people that cannot afford to pay for the whole kit can but it in pieces.
The idea here is that some people may want to keep the stock look with the piping so
STAGE 1 will be the front mount IC and the adapter to fit up to the stock piping and there will be minimal trimming of the bumper support. this will be roughly $650 dollars. and this includes the brackets to hold the radiator when you remove the stock IC.
STAGE 2 will be the Hard pipes utilizing the stock bypass or aftermarket if you have one. They also know about the dual turkeyless setup so they can do the flange for the open vent if you want. This will be $300 dollars.
And of course the
STAGE 3 will be the FMIC/Hard pipes/SRI for the best deal of $850 dollars. They sent the IC core back to pwr so they can make more because we are looking at 25 kits with aluminum piping. I think I need to start a list of people who want one but I will start that soon.

So basically, Stage 3 is Stages 1&2 combined, right? I want to make sure I am reading this right.

Not that I am complaining, but this seems very inexpensive in comparison to the others on the market. Why is that? (Keep in mind I dont know anything about the companies, ION, PANNAuto, etc. So I hope this doesnt come off the wrong way.)

basically pann does a large amount of local san diego business and they would rather see people get the mods they want and make a little less profit than charge out the a$$ for hardly anything. they have already fronted the money to express ship the prototype intercooler here from australia and ship it back to make more so on and so forth. they are into this for at least a grand already

Okay, I was sure there was a legitimate answer for it!!

Now if I buy this, I will be running mid to high 11's in the 1/4 right?
