Ok everyone I have my intercooler that i was plannign on using now a Saab unit that is 16" high 24" wide and 1.5" deep with 2.25" inlets outlets that I have modified to point straight in and out. Now I could use this it has a 76% effeiceincy which is good....or I could go with a brand new unit from Spark Racing that is 8 inches high 28" wide and 2" deep with polished endtanks (pic is attached) Which one shoudl I go with guys.....

is the saab one polished like that sharp lookin spark racing one...and what is the efficiency of the spark racing IC?

nope its plastic endtanks that have been painted a silver high temp paint difference is i have the Saab now I would have to sell the saab and save some money for the spark

well....then its all about the Spark..but its ur call....if ur not willing to wait...but the spark deffinately looks better.

If they're both equally efficient, then who gives a F what it looks like. Stick with what you got. :-)

Man, that one from Spark looks a lot like the exact same size as the Starion intercooler. I'd check with them to see what size the inlet and outlet tubes are. It they are 2" or less, I'd say it has the exact same efficiency as the Starion. The endtanks look identical also. Spitting image.

yeah i know thats why i think i woudl just buy a starion if i did that its the same dimensions and its 14 row same as the starion....for some reason I think it is a starion they bought as an OEM core and changed the endtanks.

That's what it looks like to me. The end tanks look VERY similat to the starion. The only difference is that theirs are a little more curved instead of a slant where the Spark's curves. If you can visualize that.:D

I would say go with the spark CH or the starion....I aint to fond of the saab units. PM me when you get a chance CH

I will stick with the Saab unit for now since i already have it and I'm broke due to the way i positioned the endtanks though it will be EASY to upgrade later Terry ;) if ya know what i mean.

I'm sure it works good, but damn that's some backyard engineering if I ever saw any.

What kinda crack is that?
Most folks here have a backyard not a C&C shop at their disposal! So where do you get off, what do you have in your front yard? I've got a first gen Pro that could eat yours with ease. It sits at a solid 13lbs all day long with out a boost controller, using the stock air box! Besides I would put up the quality of this "backyard" job to any thing I've seen out of a shop! or your front yard!

YOu want backyard I got your backyard. I figured I couldn't find the right IC so i cut the Saab in half welded teh cores together and now i'm making endtanks....i now have a nice shiney effiecient 20x8x2.75 twin core...oh yeah new effieciency rating I found on it 86% effiecient so thats good enough for me. I got what i wants now and I didn't spend a dime. I will post pics when its done
