i have a 2005 3 5-door A/T. i was wondering if the CAI's for the M/T would fit correctly. furthermore, if anyone could tell me how much they paid for their intakes, it would be appreciated. if anyone has a link to a site for CAI's that would fit my engine, i would also really appreciate it. thanks.

You're never going to get "dealer approval" for any modifications. Sure, they may tell you to go ahead and put it on but anything funky goes wrong with your car, you're screwed.

To that end, AEM, INJEN and K&N are all making CAIs for the 3. Go to each company's web site and you'll find their models. They're all running around $200-$275.

Do a search on the forums to get people's opinions on each of them.

with an intake you could always take it off and put the stock one back on should anything go wrong. (short of hydrolocking your engine)

i went to a performance shop in town and they told me that if aem is making a specific CAI for A/T, there is a specific reason for that. i was just wondering if anyone had an A/T with a CAI installed, and if so, does it fit correctly
