Intake problem

The stock intake hose that runs to the airbox is torn due to my motor moving so much because of bad motor mounts. The hose is a dealer item which is $70 in my area. Would i be able to just get an intake instead of replacing that hose? I'm on a budget as not working right now so i was thinking of one of the cheap ebay intakes and than buy a better filter for it when i have money. if possible a link to the ebay intake suggested would be great. any help is appreciated.

Duct tape has been on for 3 weeks car started idleing wierd again, so need a permanent fix. figured would get the ebay intake for the piping since its cheap and pop in a K&N a month after soon as i get more $$.

That's exactly what I did. It's just a metal tube after all. I couldn't see spending 300.00 on one. I believe this was it.

id pop on a AEM Dryflow filter, those are amazing filters
as for piping, its alll the same its just a pipe.

Also try looking in your local section, and the for sale sections on this site. Enough people probably have stock intakes kicking around that you should be able to find one.

i might get this one at some point since its uber cheap. they misspelled protege as protage, hehe. i saw one p5 on car domain a while back with it and he seemed to like it.
