Whats up, here are a couple pics of the brackets...Like I said, it ain't pretty...I'll probably paint it(and update you guys) tomorrow, black more than likely, just to keep it "hidden". Check out my windshield too...pretty sweet, huh??

nice lil mod I needa get my intake soon, but im just waiting on injen. On a side note PLEASE HURRY UP WITH THE INTAKE INJEN!! OMG I CANT WAIT ANY LONGER :X

The bad part about it is that the crack only got bigger when I washed my car. It was like, keep the crack small, or cruise around in a clean car looking at a big, ugly crack...damn deisel trucks!!!!!!

good thinking... but personnally i'm waiting for the injen. i wish that AEM would make an intake for our cars. maybe i should call them... but what happened to your windshield??? thats pretty sick

The bracket was made from a peice of metal sitting in my garage. I just cut it to size, and bent it to mount flush. Like I said, it was only about a 30 minute job. I saw the other people who tried it, and I happen to have the extra parts to do it... Hell, I'm addicted to fixing up my cars, so this was just screaming for me to try.

I was passing an 18 wheeler about a week and a half ago, and the damn thing kicked a rock out sideways at my car. Luckily it only hit my windsheild though and not my rim, fender or hood.

Man, AGR#7 that looks really cool. I wouldn't notice it if i weren't paying attention to your engine bay.
Did you just look for any bolt and screw to see if it would fit to get that bracket torqued down to that frame? (hard to explain)

Ha! Again,,,,thank you, thank you; but it was 2K3 Mazdaspeed who did it first, as far our group is concerned, I think. I looked at his bracket, then when I was at my friends finishing up wih the Blitz install, as I previously mentioned, he said that he thought he might have some scrap metal lying around, and that piece looked like the 'hot ticket'. We bent it, and twisted it a little, and yes.....used all existing holes on the car. Of course; it was nice that the piece of metal we chose already had holes in it, and they lined up great. (rockon)

With the broken window, i remember a few mp3'ers windows crack right after getting the car, and the dealer replaced it for them for free. i'd look into it
