Just in case you haven't got into the "Performance" newsgroup lately (it has been kinda slow in there), there's a topic in there that Razhael was kind enough to post about a custom intake.

Its short ram for $179, and theres a cold air extension for $99 extra (includes AEM water bypass valve). Razhael is getting it today and will lets us know what it does for the car.

it does wonderful things for the mp3, but i cannot promess a dyno until october 12, i will try to get a pic tomorrow for u guys! thx to nick in the protege mp3 group in yahoo, he was the one that got this stuff first and gave me the link to the mhp guys.

and yes, theres a big difference between the stock and this CAI.

guys, since i will not have any stock dynos for comparison, can any of u dyno ur mp3 so we can see what the gains were?

Out of curiosity, how much does it usually cost to get a dyno reading on a car? Is it reasonable?

i dunno, but my gf brother knows a lot about that stuff, and he said he can hook me up with somebody to dyno the mp3, and hes graduating on october 12, thats probably when i will get it tested.

yo raz, see if the place you had your intake made at is willing to make another one to send to So. California. If they are tell me the cost of the intake and the shipping cost. Also, if you could give me the info on the shop, Phone #, Address, WWW address. Yo

If custom, they would need your Intake measurements to produce multiple amounts. Gotta have that intake.
