Instrument cluster issue

I recently installed some led bulbs in my cluster to replace the dumb condom covered ones it comes with. They were a little longer than the stock bulbs and I had to remove a little piece of plastic to make them fit. In order to get to the plastic, I had to go in from the front of the cluster, which meant removing the gauge needles. Now both the tach and speedo needles are off and it annoys the hell out of me! I have tried numerous times to remove them and realign them, both with vehicle on and off. Every time, they stay aligned for the first ignition cycle, but then are off after that. Anyone seen this or dealt with this?

In other words your screwed, I did the same to my old car removed the needles and was never able to put them back to normal. Ended up getti g another cluster

Did you go through the cluster programming mode??

You maybe able to reset something.

EDIT: Found this...

Looks like there's nothing to reset,... just replace it like 915_P5 said.
(you can see what the needles do though...)
