Installing Python 594

Whats up Mazda family!

Today I was having the Python 594 alarm installed. The installer is a friend of mine who does this as his profession. Everything was good until we had to hook the alarm up to the passenger side front door trigger. He was unable to find the correct wire. We looked online, and the installer had even printed out the direct tech wiring guide which tells you which wire is for what. We checked the wires with a volt meter and... nothing!!! Has anyone had this problem while installing an alarm? Should I just use the dome supervision wire instead? Any help is appreciated.

BTW we checked the color on several sites and it says it is black/blue, but all the wires of that color don't work.
