installing 6x9 in my MSP

I have searched and learned that they are no 6x9 speakers in my MSP in the rear. All the speakers are in the way and the sub in the truck. I also know that the holes are there and also the wires to koop up the 6x9's like in the normal proteges. My question is, is the wire for the 6x9's in the rear deck amplified? is it even sending signal from the radio? I want to buy some 6x9's for better sound and install them myself without having to mess with any wires. I want an nice, fast and easy installation using the stock holes already there and they wires. Thanks.

You will have to disconnect the rear speaker wires and run extensions to the rear deck. I don't know where the clip is but the speaker leads to the rear deck are DEAD!! The stock deck can not power all 6 speakers, only 4. If your dropping the sub enclosure anyways then you can reuse the amp for the 6x9s.

The rear deck is a snap to take off but the wiring may get you.

I was not planning to drop the sub enclosure and just run the 6x9's. I was planning on running the 6x9's and the rest of the speakers. So the wire that run to the holes were the 6x9's go for the regular Proteges are dead? so why are the wires even there? Thanks.

oUR CARS HAVE THE LEADS BECAUSE THEY STARTED OUT AS A PRO EX.damn caps lock!
And ,you can't install 6*9's with the sub enclsure still in place. It sits too close to the underside of the rear deck.

thanks. I read a post where someone said that there was enough room so I was not sure.

I didn't see that post but I could be wrong?
Someone correct me if I am.
When I installed my Sirius I was "all up in the trunk",literally, and I could not see how you could possibbly fit a 6*9 between the deck and the sub enclosure.I can barely get my hand in there!

Depends!
Some really bad Lightining audio, Pioneer, Jensen or other POS might fit. It will depend on depth. As mentioned the wires for the rear deck are dead and I don't know where they are redirected.
