Installed upgrades = Decreased Boost?!

So i installed a Forge Diverter valve (blue spring) and a SRI (Mazdaspeed) over the weekend, and it appears that i'm down a couple PSI from where i was stock. Vacuum reads where it was originally, and i double checked to make sure all of the connections were snug so i don't think that i've got any leaks... (boost gauge via onboard OBD-2 "Torque" program)

Any ideas on where i'd be loosing boost?

Thanks in advance!

Cooler weather, denser air. That makes it easier to hit the ECU's load targets at lower boost levels. Also, there is data (Grassroots Motorsports Magazine published test) to support an opinion that the stock BPV actually holds boost better in the higher gears at higher rpm than Forge, althoug the Forge recovers faster between shifts. I can't make my stock valve leak, not even at 60,000 miles, so I'm sticking with it. Might try your stock valve again. But, in all honesty, I think you're just hitting your target load in cooler air.

if your using the 1st gen model of Forge, make sure you installed 1 shim with your blue spring? also make sure the top is securely tightened. But MSMS3 is right about the Load Targets.
