If you didn't put in the back springs it will not drop at all. Why would it lower without putting the springs on the back? Not unless I'm missing something here?

You're reading it wrong. Or actually, it's just typed wrong. here:

And yeah, wait a couple weeks more or less and see if it changes.
They will settle. I suggest putting something heavy in the back to speed up the process a bit so you can get your alignment done quicker. I put my winter wheels/tires in my back seat for about 36 hours and they settled nicely, then I got my alignment done a few days later.
