So I installed my test pipe today! its a speedaction test pipe off ebay..

The quality of the product is good.. Fitment is good..

I noticed a pretty good power gain. the throttle response increased pretty good! Also makes my car sound meaner!

If you plan on getting a test pipe I would recommend this brand.. But ill keep you guys updated on it if anything happens to it...

sweet. 140 is still too pricey for me. i patiently waited for someone to sell their CS or SU for 100 or less. got mine for 90.

either way im an advocate of some ebay products. I bought Dropzone springs and my IC Core will also be an ebay product. UHATEIT got me on the bandwagon

good quality Ebay products FTW

not really meaning to threadjack here.. but UHATEIT also suggested i get the dropzones too!! he must be an ebay fanatic... what application did you get though?? the mazda3 springs?? they dont have one for MS3.

oh sorry man. yeah, its just the Mazda 3 springs. UHATEIT is the reason why i for the DZ's and sent my eibach pro spacers back for the ebay spacers he bought

Any leaking issues at all? I'm just asking because I have my little boy in the car all the time.

nice....just bought mine off ebay...its sitting in my trunk waiting for me to stop being so damn lazy.

did you do it yourself? if so, how?

did you do it yourself? if so, how?

1. get the front end up (ramps / jack stands)
2. unhook negative side of battery and pump brakes (wipe out ecu)
3. take the black subframe plate off so you have access to the the 2nd cat / cbe area
4. pb blast (i used wd-40 and it was rough) the bolts holding the 2nd cat. 4 total - 2 on dp side and 2 on cbe side
5. breaker bar the bolts off
6. remove 2nd cat - dp side gasket will remain on dp.
7. put the new gasket on the cbe side
8. bolt the dp side of the test pipe on first
9. bolt the cbe side on and put the old springs between the cbe side and tp flanges.
11. check for leaks - feel around gasket area for exhaust w/o touching metal and look for leaking agua
12. reverse steps 1-3

it's not a hard install. just prepare to get dirty and don't break your hand getting out the old bolts. make sure you have extensions too.
