Actually reading over again it seems original thread starter got the HID bulb to fit the fogs with the deflector shield.
Post 57 someone went into a little detail about how they took it apart to remove the deflector. I may have confused his post with the original persons thread, thinking the thread starter modified it.
Post 68 this person also claims their’s didnt fit. I couldnt get mine to fit either but maybe that was an error in my part. Maybe DDM changed the bulb over time or they have slightly different bulb length sizes being sent out randomly. I might have to try again later on mine.
