Most people drill holes to thread their wires / hoses through the cabin to the engine bay. I spent way too long looking for an alternative method so I figured I would post this to maybe help someone.
If you don't want to drill a hole, follow the hood release cable under the steering wheel. There is a rubber gromet that you can push out of the way. The cable goes from underneath the steering wheel, over the splash guard, to the engine bay. The best way to access this is to pull off the top part of the splash guard and follow the hood release cable. This step took me a good 45 minutes to discover
