im in for sure, as far as price, i would say they should cut every1 a break to at least around $200. if 30-40 people buy at once, they should take $25-50 off.

The VW folks on the Vortex experienced similiar price cuts, depending on how many people there were - not uncommon if there's like 20 or more of us, which it seems like there will be...

Oh, have I mentioned that I'm interested in one too?! jk :D

I'm with twizted on this one. Too many threads to read through...I'm interested on the Injen if it is close to $200, and as long as I know it won't stall(will it come with a gaurantee??). I have plenty of other mods to spend money on rather than something that may fail. I may have to hold off until, like Braden said, it is tested more.

All of your worries can now dissapear. I have been driving hard, soft, sweet, sour and every other way you can drive a car testing the intake. All stall problems are gone, I was even had a near stall in idle with the UDP and thats gone! The hesitation is 99.9% gone. With the K&N we though it was sweet, it definietly kills the stock box but the intake is a 1000 x's better. With the stock box/K&N I would notice huge hesitations sometimes. It would be like the car would take a deep breath when I hit the pedal and never let go of it. Only once have I noticed the car take a "breath" with the intake but it let it go almost instantly and nailed me into my seat, it was actually kind cool. I love my Injen intake and I know all of you will too.
Another example, I used to take turns, down shift into second before the turn and the hit the gas on the way out and it would lag building up speed, tonight on the way home I took the same turn, hit the gas on the way out and it was like the hand of god slapped my car on the ass. A huge difference...

Almost forgot, the stalling/stumble problem was from the BOV recycle line was dumping too close to the air mass sensor, which caused turbulence, hence the stumble/stall. They moved it way down the pipe so there are no problems now

color?

Hey Redmption...any word on colors for this thing? you think they'll go with just polished like they did for the mp3 CAI? If that's the case then I need to find a good place to powder coat in CT...dark red with a metal flake!(bling)

Hey Redemtion nice to hear of some real world driving differences! And oh yes ,if it was dumping to close to the MAF sensor turbulence will wreak havoc on the MAF signal to the ECU!actually sounds like it was a pretty easy fix, just move the re-entry point of the BPV!
Good news,Thanx,
Matt:cool:

Red Metal flake would be badass!!!

i think there is, but its not that hard, i checked it out yesterday, its just moving the bracket

Ok then, when the time comes, how do we ensure we're on the "list?" I don't wanna miss out - thanks for the great update/driving test redemption...

Anyway, I just don't want to be a pain and nag anyone about this - I simply want to be included in the buy...thanks for listening...
