i currently purchased a injen cia and a greddy type rs bov, however i was unaware that i would need hardpipes for the bov, is there any way to eliminate the turkey sound from the cia?
No there is no way, Unless you want to put your box back on. The turkey has always been there, Its just a lot louder now with the CAI. You need to run hardpipes with your greddy. Although you can still get a little turkey that way, The best way to eliminate all turkey has been to run your stock BPV with a BOV.
I found that out the hard way. Running Injen CIA with a turbosmart dual port bov and hard pipe kit and using the factory valve too. When I wasn't running the stock bypass vavle, it ran a little iffy. I put it back on and now it's pretty smooth.
