Injen CAI

So I have just received my Injen CAI. I will be going out to work on it within the hour, I am just getting everything ready- tools, and putting the beer on ice.

I just have a quick question. I have a aftermarket front bumper on my car, I was just wondering if it would be necessary to pull off the front bumper, or can I just remove the left front tire and unscrew the cover on the inside and pull that back to remove the air box? I would rather not have to go through the trouble of removing the front bumper and getting it back on.

Anyone who has ever installed the CAI have any input or suggestions?

You can get to it from the inner fender (6 and MS6) but it's a bit tricky. There are 3 nuts that need to be removed to pull the lower airbox out.

What year/model are you putting this on?

It is a 2004 Mazda 6 Sport.
